 Prescott Valley Town Center

The Prescott Valley Town Center will bring together a mix of shops, offices, entertainment, housing, recreation and community facilities. As with classic American towns, tree-lined streets and buildings with frequent entries and windows along the sidewalks will foster a pleasant walking environment.

Prescott Valley Town Center will create a new mixed-use downtown in central Arizona. Calthorpe Associates’ Master Plan for the Town Center structures a complementary mix of retail, housing, employment, civic, and a new hospital within a 600-acre site. A pedestrian-oriented Main Street will link a new cinema with retail shops, live-work dwellings, and a new conference center. Businesses will also face a linear park that connects a community college to a new hospital.

A variety of housing types will be integrated within the community. Medium and high density apartments and townhouses will form a human-scaled fabric in the central area, putting residents within walking distance of a variety of activities and services. The market for senior housing in this area is expected to be especially strong, as Prescott Valley was recently ranked among the top ten most desirable locations for senior living in the United States. North of the Town Center is a large single family housing area with a network of open spaces.

Two high-tech campuses are planned adjacent to a proposed community college, creating a new research and development center. Medical-related office and service facilities are also planned adjacent to a future hospital.
