Recreational activities are available through the City's Parks and Recreation Department which oversees Heritage Park Zoo and more than a dozen City parks on hundreds of acres. Within the City there are 16 lighted tennis courts, 15 lighted baseball/softball diamonds, and four football fields. The sport enthusiasts will also find gun clubs, a rifle range and trap shooting for their enjoyment.
